About Jone

I moved to Barcelona from the Basque Country to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). After graduating, I decided to focus on bioinformatics and am now pursuing a Master’s in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). As part of my studies, I am working on my Master’s thesis, which focuses on predicting HLA-II expression in breast cancer cells, in collaboration with Lucas.

 

Beyond science, I have a passion for reading and engaging in discussions about different perspectives, which is why I am part of a book club. In short, I’m just a girl who loves music, fashion, and exploring new culinary experiences from time to time.
